Forbidden Technologies plc (AIM: FBT), the AIM-quoted owner and developer of the market leading cloud video platform, Forscene, is pleased to announce the name of its consumer video editor.
Forbidden is extending the range of markets for its Forscene video platform into the consumer space through its video social network “eva”, currently in beta test, and its consumer video editor, announced in the most recent financial statements under the place holder name Brand Y.
The consumer video editor has now been branded “Online Video Editor”.
Development of Online Video Editor is continuing apace, with the technical Proof of Concept completed last month, and UX design at an advanced stage. The release is expected late this year.
Unlike Forscene, Online Video Editor will be entering an existing market. The results of Forbidden’s market sizing process indicate that sales of Online Video Editor have the potential to be meaningful for the Company from 2017 onwards.
