Broadcast Buyer reports on Forbidden’s latest citizen journalism project, at the internationally acknowledged Wildscreen Festival for wildlife and environmental filmmaking. “The project is part of a panel session involving the BBC, Google UK, Natural World and Aardman Animations, discussing how the revolution of new viewing techniques such podcasts, blogs and mobile is changing the industry … The opportunities presented by new media such as podcasts, blogs, and in particular user-generated content over the Internet and mobile phones, is having an increasingly significant effect on the industry, said Paul Williams, Researcher at the BBC.”
