The Philly Inquirer has an article about the NBC ‘highlights factory’. They report: “NBC’s plan to make available 5,535 hours of Olympics coverage on multiple platforms is unprecedented. To manage this torrent of video streams into American households, the Comcast Corp.-owned NBCUniversal entertainment and news conglomerate has staffed … a temporary 670-employee center in New York dubbed the ‘highlights factory’”.
