The Saturday Financial Times reported: “Forbidden Technologies has licensed its web-based video editing platform to YouTube … The shares jumped to 29p after Mondayâs terse announcement, which said YouTube would use the companyâs platform to support remote video editing and publishing for web and broadcast delivery”, with other City comment from Hybridan reported in www.iii.co.uk: “… This agreement will make a significant contribution to the performance of the company over the next twelve months”. The broadcast industry news site 4rfv headlined: “YouTube Secure FORscene License” with the industry journal Broadcast reporting: “FORscene would provide the cloud editing element in a larger integrated system, with the platform used to support remote video editing and publishing for web and broadcast delivery”.
