Composer

Philip Vessey, a SiteSeer customer, is a composer who is using Forbidden’s audio compression to publicise his music over the Internet on the web and via an email campaign.

Mediaconcept Srl, a licensee of Forbidden’s FORmobile and FORweb products, has completed its training programme in our Wimbledon office. Mediaconcept is planning to customise FORmobile for the Italian market, which it is supplying with Forbidden’s FORadvertisers product.

Mobile update

The FORmobile player has been upgraded. The latest version has more elegant billing messages, improved sound, and a faster player which helps particularly on older models. The FORmobile compressor incorporates the corresponding upgrades.

Forbidden Technologies is sending representatives to the 18th 3GSM World Congress in Cannes. Rob Conway, CEO of the GSM Association, describes 3GSM as the “seminal annual event of the mobile industry”.

Third parties are alpha testing the compressor for Forbidden’s FORmobile product. Production companies and other content owners can now compress video themselves. Customers can watch these videos on their mobiles using the FORmobile player.
