The twelfth FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup 2024 is underway in Dubai, where 16 teams compete for the World Championship title. Blackbird is used to clip and publish clips and highlights for the duration of the tournament.

EVS Broadcast Equipment have been nominated for an award for the Flex Production Project. The project showcased the advantages of using 5G technology in centralized productions by live streaming a play from Liege Theatre to schools across Belgium, watched by over 10,000 students. By integrating Blackbird’s cloud video editing capabilities, students gained hands-on experience in crafting professional-grade content.

Blackbird, announces today that Blackbird has been deployed to a further two US TV stations for digital news production following the latest BLOX Digital (formerly TownNews) deployment. This is one of multiple expansions of Blackbird by BLOX Digital since the partnership began in 2018.
