This latest release includes primarily maintenance updates for the recently launched ingest queues to support all the various Blackbird ingest use cases along with support for updates to cloud based Edge servers. Upcoming releases will further enhance ingest management with larger preview thumbnails for improved monitoring capabilities.
The latest upgrade to the Blackbird platform is due to be released on 9th July 2024.
This update will be made available during a maintenance window of 11:00-16:00 BST (6:00-11:00 EST) on the day.
Ingest Queue enhancements
Support for all ingest use cases including externally managed API ingest monitoring from third party solutions.

Support for Ubuntu 22.04 / Docker versions 25 and above hosts
When running Blackbird Edge in cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) or on other systems under docker, Ubuntu operating system is used. A number of changes have been made to enhance this support for 22.04 and 24.04 with all of the security features they include. Migration of existing machines is underway as part of routine maintenance. Please contact support for further information if required.
